Players will showcase their poker skills as they compete for cash and prizes at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. An open bar will be provided while players compete and patrons partake in the Silent Auction. Guaranteed cash and prizes!

ABOUT US
The Diamond Foundation exists as the philanthropic arm of the Las Vegas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. The Las Vegas Alumni Chapter was founded in 1964 with the motto of “Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor.” The foundation was first formed in 1993 under the name Las Vegas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. In 2011, the name was changed to The Diamond Foundation.
MISSION
Uplifting Las Vegas youth through scholarships, community involvement, educational activities and health awareness.
VISION
To provide support to Las Vegas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated members and others in service to communities with a particular emphasis on African-American communities.

PROGRAMS
We support the following activities of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the Las Vegas Alumni Chapter.
Thanksgiving Day Drive
Each year we sponsor 20-30 less fortunate families or those in need with baskets filled with all the items necessary for a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT
(KAPPA LEAGUE)
The Kappa Leadership & Development League is a program designed to aid young men of high school age to grow and develop their leadership talents in every phase of human endeavor. Kappa League provides both challenging and rewarding experiences to enhance their lives.
ANNUAL SHOP WITH A KAPPA
In December 2016, The Las Vegas Alumni Chapter along with UNLV’s undergraduate, Theta Sigma Chapter, hosted our 5th Annual “Shop with a Kappa” event in an effort to provide disadvantaged youth in the community with Christmas presents during the holiday season. The chapters raised over $12,000, which allowed over 100 children to receive a $100 gift card to shop at their local Walmart store.
COMMUNITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Diamond Foundation has provided many services to needy individuals right here in our local community. Each year we come across a number of young men and women who are affected by the need of financial assistance to continue their education.
